Sporting Clays & Sporting Loop
A unique setting with compact sporting ranges, and a nine-station sporting loop form the core of Kendal’s shotgun facilities:
The compact range is an excellent starting place for someone who is new to the sport. Three levels of skill offer the shooter a wide selection of target options. Diversity makes the game of Compact fun for the novice and demanding for the experienced shooter.
The Sporting Loop consists of nine stations spread out over a half mile area. Each station tests your ability to judge the speed and angles of these deceptive clays. Targets are thrown from numerous traps that surround the field. Chandelles, springing teals, rabbits, and tower shots as much as 60ft high are a few of the target displays that can be seen here at Kendal.
Richard Bradshaw, a Pan Am Games veteran, is on hand to guide newcomers or coach competitors on how to improve their scores. An assortment of 12, 20 and 28 gauge shotguns, shooting jackets, eye and ear protection are available.
